Meet Keith Rosiér

Bassist/Author/Producer, Keith Rosiér (pronounced Rosy-aye) is a native of Texas. At the age of 10, he was inspired to learn about the bass with the help of his grandmother, Elizabeth Franklin, who played and taught electric guitar.

At age 19, Keith moved from Texas to Los Angeles, CA. He soon found work as a session bassist at Kitchen Sync Studios in Hollywood, CA. There he played on movie soundtracks and sessions produced by studio owner, Jeff Snyder. This opportunity led to Keith joining and recording with the band "The Spears," who were signed to Elton John's, Rocket Records label. During this same period Keith began playing with musicians from Jackson Browne and Hoyt Axton's bands. This led to Keith's first touring job with songwriter/actor, Hoyt Axton, touring the States and Europe. During this period he also recorded and toured with Steve Gillette, a singer/songwriter based in LA who Keith joined for a tour sharing the bill with The Dixie Dregs.

While subbing on a gig, Keith worked with John Molo, an LA session player and drummer for Bruce Hornsby & The Range.
